Ruthr Killer, Duisburg Man-Eater, and Ruhr Hunters are just some of the nicknames given to Joachim Kroll. A notorious german serial killer who, for over twenty years kidnapped,raped, molested, killed, and ate over thirteen women and one man throughout the late 1950s till the late 1970s. Born on April 17, 1933 in Hindenburg Oberschlesien, Joachim was the youngest of eight children born into a coal miner s family. He had a normal childhood but was picked on at home for being the weakest and at school because of his learning disability he had an IQ of only 76( murderpedia).
